"Through The Eyes"... - Barbara Kurz, Client Relationship Manager

Some time ago when coming into the office for a meeting, a client presented us with a framed cartoon they had personalized for us.  It shows a couple sitting across a desk from a gentleman who is spewing hieroglyphics followed by, “Do you have any questions so far?” to which the couple responded, “Um, nope”.  To the side were the words, “How we really understand retirement planning”.  Beneath the cartoon, the first names of the clients followed by “get an education” had been added.  This was the first.

Sometime after that, another client brought to us an extremely impressive photo taken by her husband that showed the massive head of a bison in a cloud of dust.  The photo was taken at Custer State Park in South Dakota.  This was the second.

At another client meeting, we were presented with a poster of a young woman who participated in and was photographed during the televised Ninja Warrior contest.  On a number of occasions prior to that, we had been shown videos of the competitions in which she had participated.  The poster was given to us by her deservedly proud grandparents.

We decided to assemble these treasures in a way that all of our clients could enjoy as well as all of us in the office, so we designated a wall and had a sign made that reads, “Through the Eyes of Our Clients…”  We feel honored when the people who work with us feel a connection to us that transcends our business relationship and choose to share their lives with us in this way.  If you're one of our clients and have something important to you that you would like to share with us, we invite you to give us a call so we can add it to our wall.
